Capitulation. Giving up. Nihilistic beliefs. None of this is helpful. None of this is going to get you the life you want. None of this is even going to make your life better. The worst part is it’s just plain wrong.
Amazing. As a young guy, I love this perspective and needed to hear this. So easy to get wrapped up in the negativity or forget the central mission. But builders build. This too shall pass.
Currently waiting to hear back from suppliers to start a brand. In the meantime, should I use $ to hire writers for a separate affiliate site in same niche? I want to do both (yes, I know impatience won’t help, but trying to keep taking action), but you mentioned that funds would be better used for ecomm if you have the money.
I do have dry powder for ecomm I believe, but barely enough (approx 20k). Six figure income though (140k-ish depending on commission). Should I just wait to hear back from suppliers or start an affiliate in the meantime? USTT flow is good but not *that* good, hence some apprehension
Good stuff. Needed this reminder. Just took a few days off with the family in the mountains and disconnected from the doom scrolling on Twitter. It's amazing how much of the world is actually good and awesome when you log off.
Would buying something like VTI be similar to buying SPY? Great article
Opossum, you win, I'll buy you 2 coffes per month.
Made my day with this post.
Great perspective. Champions adjust. Glad you're in the jungle
Thank you for this!
Love your work Opossum!
Thanks opossum
Appreciate the gut check. Excellent piece. (Coming for a young(er) guy who is definitely guilty of engaging in the catastrophic thinking.)
Greatest article of your substack thus far, imo. Thank you.

Awesome perspective, thanks Opossum

Ready to hit it hard again this week.
Needed this. Keep up the good work, Opossum.
Thanks Opossum.
Sobering, well timed, definitely needed.
